Josh Gowling
The accomplished defender is a key figure both on and off-the-field where his assured manner serves the clubs well and brings the best out of those around him.
He began his career with West Bromwich Albion where he came through the ranks before spending time with Danish outfit, Herfølge Boldklub, in 2004/05.
Returning to these shores with AFC Bournemouth, his progress was halted by a serious injury but he battled back and in the summer of 2008 made the switch to Carlisle United, from where he was loaned out to Hereford United.
He joined Gillingham on loan at the start of the 2009/10 campaign before making the move a permanent one.
It was a similar situation with Lincoln City where he did well on loan and eventually made the move on a permanent basis in July 2011.
Staying with The Imps for a year, his next port of call was Kidderminster Harriers where his first season saw him a regular member of the team which finished second in the Conference Premier and then for the 2014/15 campaign he took over the captain’s armband.
A popular figure at Aggborough, he then moved to Grimsby Town whom he helped make a return to The Football League and establish themselves back in League Two before linking up with Torquay United prior to his Hereford return.
